I play in the band, Blue Red Roses.

We're from Battle Lake, Minnesota.

We play some rock, pop, a little folk in there type of music-- pretty feel-good stuff.

It hasn't been too long, but it's been really fun.

We play mostly as an acoustic duo, but sometimes we get to have some full band rock 'n' roll shows in there which are really fun.

Dan has always been a musician, and I grew up singing and playing piano, and it's definitely been really fun to do what we love all over lakes country and here in Fargo.

I think when people come to a Blue Red Roses show, or if they listen to a song on-line or on the album, I think the one thing we really want people to take away from it is to just kind of have a good time.

Just relax, chill out, groove, maybe not take it too seriously, or maybe go there with us and take it seriously.

We like that kind of interaction with the audience.

The environment you play in can transform your song, and you can almost play to the room a little bit.

I think we really like that element of Blue Red Roses-- the live experience and just wantin' to have a good time.
